Memo No. 046-22: Adult Education 2022-2023 Allocations

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) has received the estimated state allocations under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WOIA), Title II, Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) for program year (PY) 2022-2023. Virginia’s federal PY2022 AEFLA estimated funding allocation is $15,352,596 which is an overall increase of two percent ($330,114) compared to the prior year.

This memo provides as Attachment A the allocations to be awarded in the PY2022-2023 continuation awards, replacing the estimates provided in the continuation grant application that was released to eligible applicants on March 9, 2022.
